2.  Course fee must accompany booking form to reserve a place  

3.  Cancellations within 5 working days of the start of the programme will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the course cost and cancellations within 1 working day will incur a cancellation fee of 80% of course fee  

4.  No trainer shall be asked to do any training outside of Focused Training Direct Ltd and all further training sessions will be organized directly with Focused Training Direct Ltd  

5.  If Focused Training Direct Ltd has to postpone the course then the customer is entitled to a full course refund  

6.  Mileage costs calculated from our offices in Manchester at 0.45p per mile (for the return journey) unless otherwise stated

Course Selection Details

  • HECIC

    The course is classroom-based. It will enhance your understanding of what constitutes a safer working environment. You'll learn about the issues surrounding health and safety, the principle hazards and risks relating to the SRN, key legislation and best practices.

  • TMCE

    This course is intended for Event Stewards, whose duties may include guiding vehicles, maintaining emergency routes, erecting signs and notices, dealing with pedestrian control etc.

  • TTMBC

    NHSS12 TTMBC is for all persons starting work for the first time in the temporary traffic management industry, and for those persons that do not hold any current NHSS12A/B/C/D registration cards or certificates.

  • 12A/B

    NHSS12AB is for all persons who will be required by their employer to work on motorways and or high-speed dual carriageways.

  • LTMO

    NHSS12B LTMO is for all persons who will be required by their employer to work on motorways and or high speed dual carriageways as a lead traffic management operative, on standard works schemes where temporary road markings ARE NOT required, and all works with relaxations.

  • 12A/B Foreman

    NHSS12AB Foreman is for all persons who will be required by their employer to work on motorways and or high-speed dual carriageways as a traffic management foreman, where standard works with temporary road markings may or may not be required and all works with relaxations.

  • 12A/B TSCO

    NHSS12AB TSCO is for all persons who will be required by their employer to work on motorways and or high-speed dual carriageways as a Traffic Safety and Control Officer.

  • 12A/B IPV Driver

    NHSS12AB IPV is for all persons who will be required by their employer to work on high-speed roads, running mobile hard shoulder (or non-live lane) operations using an IPV and for protecting and installing static temporary traffic management.

  • 12D T1

    NHSS12D T1 is for all persons needing to become a Registered Traffic Management Operative (RTMO) as described in the Sector Scheme Document 12D.

  • 12D T2

    NHSS12D T2 is for all persons needing to become an unregistered Traffic Management Operative (RTMO) as described in the National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) Document 12D.

  • 12D T3

    NHSS12D T3 is for all Registered Traffic Management Operatives (RTMO) as described in National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS) Document 12D who wish to add this category to their NHSS12D card.

  • 12D T4

    NHSS12D T4 is for all persons wishing to become Registered Traffic Management Convoy Working Operatives as described in the Sector Scheme Document 12D.

  • 12D T5

    NHSS12D T5 is for all Registered Traffic Management Operatives (RTMO) as described in Sector Scheme Document 12D who wish to add this category to their 12D card.

  • 12D T6

    NHSS12D T6 is for all Registered Traffic Management Operatives (RTMO) as described in the National Highway Sector Scheme (NHSS) 12D Document who wish to become a Registered Lead Traffic Management Operative (RLTMO).

  • 12D T7

    NHSS12D T7 is for Managers, Designers, Technical Officers and others who do not physically install Temporary Traffic Management but do have responsibility for the installation.

  • TM Assessments

    For persons wishing to be assessed in a working environment to attain evidence for their training log book leading to full certification in the required field.

  • Level 3 First Aid at Work

  • Emergency First Aid at Work
